That story begins in Davao City, Philippines — with Krystal, the artisan behind Beadside Davao.
Krystal is a young artisan from Davao City, Philippines and the founder of Beadside Davao. She began her small business during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, turning her creativity into a way to support her family.
Inspired by her love of the ocean and beachside simplicity, Krystal’s early creations included delicate anklets and handcrafted bead designs. Over time, her craft evolved into bracelets that combine dainty elegance with thoughtful detail.
When The Fig Tree Children partnered with Krystal, it became more than just a business arrangement — it became a shared mission.
Through this collaboration, Krystal’s artistry now reaches supporters in Australia and beyond, while helping fund education, healthcare, and essential support for vulnerable children in Sierra Leone.
